The long-range goal of the Government IT Shared Service Centre is the improvement of productivity and cost-efficiency.

The Government IT Shared Service Centre uses shared government IT services to support the transadministrative operation of administrative sectors and agencies. The IT service centre shortens the lead time of administrative sector and agency development investments and improves the cost-efficiency of government IT operations.

The Government IT Shared Service Centre contributes to the implementation of the government’s IT strategy and is responsible for the service production in accordance with this strategy. The operation of the Government IT Shared Service Centre is directed by the Management Unit of Government IT Operations.
